Fencing Tournament Starter Kit
The 'Pebble' Test Box
An easy to use weapon tester and practice fight hit detector. Select your weapon, plug in with body cord and watch the lights. Green = good anything else = bad.
6MM Angle Open End Wrench
Tighten your barrels that have come loose. Do not tighten too hard, otherwise wire may cut and/or blade tip integrity may weaken and become compromised.
Test Gauge
What the referees use to confirm your weapon is competition ready. Good to check the night before tournament so that you know whether your child’s favorite weapon will work on the day of the competition. With the Test Gauge inserted between the tip and the barrel, pushing down on the tip should not set off the tester.
EPEE SOCKET SCREWDRIVER
Screwdriver with wide blade for Epee to tighten screws that connect the Guard Sockets and blade wiring (where the body cord attaches to the weapon inside the bell guard).
EPEE TEST WEIGHT (750G)
Screwdriver with wide blade for Epee to tighten screws that connect the Guard Sockets and blade wiring (where the body cord attaches to the weapon inside the bell guard).
BLADEMATE INSTANT ADHESIVE
A quick drying adhesive for spot gluing down wires that have popped up. Wires popping out of blade wire groove, if clipped, will render your weapon useless.
GERMAN EPEE BARREL REAMER
The inside of the barrel where the epee tip resides can deform over extended use. This epee barrel will smooth out the insides of the barrel, allowing the epee tip to move more smoothly inside the barrel, ensuring your fencer registers a hit and scores that much deserved point when they actually hit.
POINT SCREWDRIVER
Watchmakers hardened steel screwdriver for use with all manufacturers grub screws.
MAGNE-TIN III
A simple box to keep your fencing repair kit and spare parts in. Trust me, it’s not easy to find a random screw or small tool inside your fencing bag
LEON PAUL TIP SCREWS
“A precision engineered screw that has some unique features that are very difficult to see without a magnifying glass. A cheap screw can ruin a weapon.”… Leon Paul
EPEE TIP - FWF FIE
Great to keep spare tips in your tournament kit in case your tip flies off and disappears during a bout or when the tip is malfunctioning. If in doubt, switch it out.
NEPS PRO DRIVER (alternative screw driver for special NEPS screws)
NEPS Pro Screwdriver is used with NEPS screw which uses a unique design that takes the hassle out changing the tiny parts in weapons.
NEPS ADVANCED EPEE TIP SCREWS
NEPS screws use a unique design that takes the hassle out changing the tiny point screws in weapons by using a special screwdriver.
GOOD FOR PISTOL GRIPS AND FRENCH GRIPS
6MM ALLEN KEY FOR 6MM INSIDE HEX NUT
Tighten your hex screw which stabilizes your epee grip to the tang. The inside hex nut loosens during bouts. Loose grips can break your wire.
GOOD FOR FRENCH GRIPS (because the tang [or stem] of the blade is longer for French grips, so the “outside hex” allows you to screw deeper into the blade tang).
WRENCH – 6MM OUTSIDE HEX
Tighten your hex screw which stabilizes your epee grip to the tang.
ULTRA LIGHT TITANIUM ALLOY 6MM OUTSIDE HEX NUT
